Daisy, one of our young volunteers, shares her experience of a recent telephone appointment with Luton & Dunstable Hospital
I had a telephone appointment with the rheumatology department at Luton & Dunstable Hospital. It was originally going to be a video appointment, but my computer wasn’t working, and I struggled to log on, so the doctor ended up phoning me.
The appointment went really smoothly, and he asked me questions and I told him about my medical history. The end of the appointment ended in a referral to their physiotherapy department.
I anticipate this won’t be for a long time as you can’t really do it online, but I’m looking forward to seeing how they do this!
