We warmly invite you to take part and share your insights, experience, and ideas in this year’s PLACE assessments. Your involvement will help us celebrate successes and focus on the areas for improvement that matter most to our community.

What is PLACE?

PLACE assessments give us a unique opportunity to view our hospital environment through the eyes of the people who matter most—patients, families, volunteers, and staff.

This year’s assessments will take place on:

  • Bedford HospitalWednesday, 15th October 2025

  • Luton and Dunstable HospitalWednesday, 29th October 2025

Why Get Involved?

By joining the PLACE assessment, you will:

  • Make a difference – Help identify what’s working well and where improvements can be made for patients, visitors, and staff.

  • Be part of a team – Work alongside colleagues, patients, and community members with a shared goal of improving care.

  • Gain new insights – Experience the hospital environment from a fresh perspective and learn more about patient experience.

  • Shape the future – Your feedback will directly influence positive changes across our services.
