Adult social care is increasing in demand each year and it is important that Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) plans how they will deliver these services for the future.

A draft strategy has been written looking at the vision for adult social care, the key priorities and how these will be delivered, and the difference it will make for residents now and in the future.

CBC are asking for your views on their five-year plan for adult social care which will address the challenges we are facing both locally and nationally, and how these will be tackled through four key priorities.

 These priorities are:

  • Promoting independence and wellbeing
  • Building resilient communities and keeping vulnerable people safe
  • Making best use of available resources
  • Shaping and supporting the care market and workforce
