Key note Speaker: Yvonne Newbold MBE

Yvonne is a highly respected advocate for parents with children who have violent and challenging behaviours, author of The Special Parents Handbook and her Facebook page; The SEND VCB project support over nine thousand parents.

Yvonne will talk about her experiences of being a parent carer of a child and adult with violent and challenging behaviour, how she was initially treated by people that were involved in assessing her son’s care needs and how she learned to work collaboratively with professionals from wellbeing and educational services. There is much to learn from this presentation. Yvonne is a true inspiration and our carers have really valued her insight, passion, knowledge and enthusiasm to support and empower them.
