Resident doctor members of the British Medical Association (BMA) are taking part in planned industrial action from 7am on Tuesday 07 to 7am on Monday 13 April. This is a dispute between the trade union and the government.

Please keep your planned appointments unless you have been contacted to cancel or re-arrange.
The NHS is working hard to keep disruption to a minimum and are asking for you to help them by using the right service for your condition.
  • Please use the emergency department if you need life-saving and critical care
  • Urgent treatment centre and minor injuries units if you need treatment for cuts, animal bites, rashes, lacerations and anything which needs an x-ray or stitching
  • Please call your GP or NHS 111 https://111.nhs.uk/ if you need routine health advice
Thank you again for supporting your NHS.
