Hospice at Home Services
Thursday, 23, January 2020 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
The is funded by the National Institute for Health Research and is a collaboration between the Universities of Kent, Surrey and Cambridge, Pilgrims Hospices, the National Association for Hospice at Home and NHS England, and is supported by Hospice UK. The study aims to find out what features of Hospice at Home models work, for whom, and under what circumstances.
The study team will be running two national consensus workshops in January in Leeds and London which will help them to review their study findings and produce guidelines for Hospice at Home services in the future.
They invite members of the public to attend who have had experience of end of life care (e.g. they could be carers, bereaved carers, service users and hospice volunteers). Public attendees travel will be paid (claimed back after the event but we can help if this causes problems) and that they will receive a voucher to thank them for their time.
