What you might see at your appointment
As hospitals, GPs and community health services are now rescheduling appointments, your next visit might feel different.
The following guide has been produced by Public Health England.
Although it is written for health and social care professionals, it is a good illustration of what you might expect as a patient if you visit a health and social care setting at the moment.
Also, remember to read about the good practice from Leighton Road Surgery, on what to expect at your next visit.
If you, or the person you care for, have difficulties or concerns in maintaining social distancing, download the ‘Please give me space’ card/badge to your mobile phone.
They can be used to signal to others around you that you need to be given space.
There are other cards/badges on the government website.
