///For Patients of Wheatfield Surgery, Luton – Patient Engagement & Consultation

Wheatfield Surgery, Luton is aware of the issues regarding patient access and they are working hard to rectify the issue. The appointment system is a priority, and the practice is looking at enabling more pre-bookable appointments.

They aim to digitalize most services, empowering you to take control of your own healthcare needs online. However they are aware that some patients do not have access to a computer, and will therefore continue to provide services by phone and face to face.

The surgery is proposing a 6 week consultation from Monday, 28th January.

If you would like to take part, please contact Kelly Houghton, Assistant Practice Manager, at Wheatfield Surgery.

This is absolutely neccessary and vitally important for our community. I like many others are left continually frustrated that I cannot get to see a GP to carry out vital review and monitoring of episodes of ill health. This is further damaging to health and utterly exhausting. If I am feeling this way, I cannot imagine how the elderly and the frail feel. This continued lack of access needs to drastically change.
