The Festival For Older People 2024, being held on 4th October, celebrates International Older Persons Day and the contribution older people make to society.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘The part we play: Celebrating the integral role of older people in our communities’.
This event is becoming more popular each year and attracts a wealth of visitors from across Bedfordshire. As well as being a fun social event, there is an opportunity for older people, their families, Carers and friends to receive information about health, social care and housing services locally, and how to access them.
Please come along to The Rufus Centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick MK45 1AH, any time between 10am and 2pm. Here is a link to a 3D tour of The Rufus Centre, which you may find useful.
If you would like further information, or need help with transport, please contact us on 0300 303 8554 or info@healthwatch-centralbedfordshire.org.uk.
We would like to thank our wonderful sponsors and supporters, without whom the Festival would not be as successful; Circle Health Group, Flitwick Town Council and Baycroft Care Home in Flitwick.
