Now in it’s 7th year, our annual Festival for Older People will be taking place on 4th October at the Rufus Centre in Flitwick.
The event is designed to be both informative and entertaining with stalls providing advice and guidance about social care, health and housing services available to support older people.
The event is organised by Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire and we are very grateful for sponsorship from Central Bedfordshire Council, Grand Union Housing Association, East London NHS Foundation Trust and Shefford Town Council.
We are once again delighted to have May Blossom, Vintage Inspired Singer entertain us with her rendition of 50’s and 60’s music, complementary therapies and treatments will be available in the Wellbeing room and Mobility Physio will be taking you through some gentle exercises. You will also be able to check your blood pressure on the day and Macmillan Cancer Support will be selling cakes donated by volunteers, Meal Time and Central Bedfordshire College.
For further details or if you need help with transport, please call the Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire team on 0300 303 8554 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
