The new practice manager appears to be a considerable improvement, however his efforts are being thwarted by the ICB. The centre needs more space to enable more blood tests to be done at the surgery, but the ICB have taken the space for admin which could be done anywhere. Patients should not be routinely sent to Bedford or Lister we need more capacity in Shefford

Gone from fantastic to dreadful since being taken over by Lea Vale. Takes endless calls to get anything resolved. Hospital letters, blood test results get lost. The nursing staff are great, but have no faith in any of the GPs but Dr S, who is very thorough. Very shambolic system.

I can confirm the home is within the Councils Provider Performance process due to the CQC rating and to track the Service Improvement Plan.
The LA is working in collaboration with the new management and good practise has been evidenced and we continue to visit fortnightly.

The place was run bad. I work there you had all staff more worried about themselves I wouldn’t put my dog in this place the manager was awful women to work for and the staff were so horrible to you gossiping about you. I loved my job there I got told I was talking about one of the women in there but I didn’t. The housekeepers in there are not good at what they do, what you said is true about the home no one look after them properly I never see any of them be washed left ages in chairs while staff was outside having a fag .

I was taken to Bedford hospital today as I had an irregular pulse due to quite bad Covid. Thank you to all of the wonderful nurses and doctors who treated me and reassured me. I went home after three hours with antibiotics for a lung infection.

Good morning. I’m shocked that the Circle receptionist dropped the phone and refused to speak to me. I’m registered as an NHS intermediary, and so is my partner. I wanted to change my appointment from Luton to Bedford because my partner works at a hospital in Bedford and has significant hearing loss, so I’m acting as an intermediary. She refused to speak to me and hung up. This is unacceptable behavior. It happened today at 8:20 a.m. on October 24th. I’m shocked. I’ve been working in the NHS for 22 years, and my partner is 25. I’ve never behaved like this, either at work or in my private life. Barbara
