Circle MSK Service and the Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group have released the following statement:
We are aware our current phone system is not ideal due to insufficient lines for the size of the service. We have also had a few minor outages that have caused issues with the phones not being available.
We appreciate this has caused some frustration for patients and have, therefore, been working on implementing a new telephone system since January. The new service goes live on 2nd June 2018.
There are an extra 30 lines and phones will automatically answer after 3 rings.
We will be implementing a proper queuing system with this new solution, to ensure the best possible patient experience.
