Circle MSK have been offering virtual appointments during the lockdown but we are now able to offer face to face appointments when clinically appropriate.
You can go on the Circle website and fill in a self-referral form, or use our Phio app to refer yourself to the service, find the link here https://www.circlehealth.co.uk/integratedcare/are-you-a-patient/, or you can ask your GP to refer you.
If you are asked to come in for a face to face appointment, be assured we are doing everything to keep you and our staff safe. We have done risk assessments of the areas we use and for all of our staff. All staff will wear the appropriate PPE following the national guidelines, you will have your temperature checked and be asked some questions to ensure it is safe for you to attend the appointment. We ask that you come wearing a mask to the appointment, but will provide one if you are not able to do this.
We offer a virtual pain management service, using a pain app, a virtual back pain rehabilitation using an app called Kaia and we can send you videos of exercises using PhysiTrack©, you can also chat to your physiotherapist using the chat function in PhysiTrack© if you are having issues with your exercises.
Currently our face to face appointments are in The Enhanced Services Centre in Bedford. From September we are able to offer appointments in Salisbury House Surgery and Leighton Road Surgery. We are working with our primary care colleagues to be able to use the other sites we usually use and these will be available when it is appropriate for us to return. We are able to send referrals to hospitals, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic waiting times may be longer than usual, so your clinician will have a conversation with you about all the options available for you to make an informed decision about your treatment.
We welcome feedback about our service to help us to identify what is working well, what can be improved and how. Please go to this link to leave your feedback https://www.circlehealth.co.uk/feedback
